Therapist Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
• Create treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances
• Coordinate care and function with a care team as needed
• Maintain thorough records of client meetings and progress in a timely manner
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality
• Full-time therapists are expected to average 22 sessions per week
• Part-time therapists are expected to average 12 sessions per week with a shared office

Qualifications

• Asks for help when needed
• Willing to consult
• Has clinical areas they are passionate about
• Has the ability to work independently and with a care team approach
• Has a strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
• Full, unrestricted licensure in MN (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.)
• Bonus: You’ve worked in private practice before
